The New American Flag

As the Creative Director of March For Our Lives, I designed The New American Flag to increase voter turnout by replacing the stars section of the flag with a QR code that, when scanned, could register anyone to vote in less than two minutes. This design engaged hundreds of thousands of voters in the 2018 election.

 

Cover Art for Big Love

I co-designed the cover art for the Black Eyed Peas “Big Love” music video.

 

Bus For The Polls

Jenny Holzer and I teamed up to bring an LED-lined bus to L.A. last weekend. Holzer, long known for her visual language presentations, including an AIDS-focused collaboration with Surface in 2016, tasked me with drafting the messages on these buses. The messages weren’t confined to gun safety issues and spanned a range of causes, from climate change to civic engagement. The bus chauffeured a group of activists, artists, musicians, and media to a rally at MOCA Los Angeles to get out the vote.

 

For Freedoms x Jenny Holzer Collaboration

I designed a t-shirt for a collaboration between For Freedoms and Jenny Holzer to encourage the youth vote in 2020.

 

War and Peace

I designed a capsule line titled War And Peace to draw contrasts between conflicts across the world and the words “War” and “Peace.”

Road To Change

As Creative Director of March For Our Lives, I helped lead a 60-day bus tour spanning 60 cities. We registered hundreds of thousands of voters and met with stakeholders and victims of gun violence across the country.
